Huber's Bistro

Chanced upon this bistro on a Friday afternoon and was charmed by the peaceful ambiance. Shared two sets of sausages with a friend for a light lunch. The Curry Wurst offered a delightful contrast - the sausage bursting with flavours, matched by the sweet curry sauce. The fresh draft Lager offers refreshing pairing with the hearty sausages. Plus, the service team is warm and friendly. I’m looking forward to coming back to explore their wider menu.

Food and service were good! Looks like they have revamped the bistro and looking better. Went there for lunch with wifey as we wanted to grab some fresh meat at butchery. Ordered 2 soup to go along with our main. She ordered potato soup and onion soup for me. Before the soup arrived, we were served with their in house baguette and butter. It was so so good especially the butter. Main were served hot from kitchen, portions were good for the price and we left the bistro with our happy stomach. Wish they can offer ribeye in time to come. They were having Oktoberfest menu too. Do drop by! Will definitely return. Thank you

Quite a lovely place to dine in and chill with your friends. Got ourselves a French onion soup, sirloin steak and beef burger. The soup to me is a most if you love onions! Portion was big for the mains and patty for beef burger was really juicy. Free parking outside and there’s a butchery/mart beside/upstairs to get some fresh produce. Maybe something to improve is I hope they serve ice water.

I have been coming here since 2017, and the food, service and atmosphere have consistently been amazing. The staff, Monty and Cindy have always been friendly, helpful and courteous. Their new trainee is certainly in good hands too. Recently, I had a delicious flat iron steak with french fries and the Huber's cafe de Paris butter, and a Shirley Temple mocktail. My table also had the French onion soup, a pumpkin soup special and a fruit punch mocktail. Generally, I highly recommend getting the flat iron steak as the main, and if possible, the french onion soup and/or tagliere di affettati misti. This would be suitable for 2 to 3 pax. If you're having mocktails, the Shirley Temple is a lot nicer than the fruit punch. No reservation is possible in my memory. So, I recommend coming earlier(before 7pm if you're having dinner) to get a queue number, then going into the adjacent butchery for some grocery shopping. The service crew in the bistro can assist in keeping your groceries chilled while you dine.

Had an outdoor seating which was sooo hot. They gave a time limit of 1 hour but was happy to let us hang around if there wasn’t too busy. Food wise was ok but nothing spectacular. Has a children’s playground at the side so lots of family groups were there. would recommend the onion soup and creme brûlée but sirloin was underwhelming. Great that it had lots of vegetables at the side.

Had fresh onion soup that warmed us up . Thereafter we shared the mains of short rib and pork cordon blue . The short rib served tender w mixed flavour between savoury meat and sweet caramelised onion, and tinge of horseradish . And pork cordon blue toughen up texture in breaded form and broaden the palate w some greens . Enjoy the meals as much as the shopping later .

Have been here several times and usually it's been fine. However, this time not only was the steak a bit disappointing (we got less nice cuts which were a bit tough to chew), but the service from the trainee was horrible. Not only did he just mention to my partner what wasn't available (i had to ask what he said afterwards), but he cleared away our plates without asking... even when we weren't finished with it! The tables had leftover crumbs from a previous diner too. Awful experience this time. ☹️
